ZURICH – The Coffee Guide

I’m glad that times are over where Starbucks was the only go-to Coffeeshop in town. Now we not only have delicious coffee from local roasteries but Zurich built its own coffee scene with lovely cafes at cozy spots.

Let’s start with my all time favourite café in the city: La Stanza, close to Paradenplatz it makes a perfect ending after a little shopping tour or if you wanna stop by during a busy day for a quick standing-espresso. It very much reminds me of my hometown in Italy, very oldschool-italian style with a beautiful bar and buzzing vibe.

Probably the best place to catch some sun while sipping coffee with your friends is at BANK, which is literally on the Helvetiplatz. Then there is Campo next to it, which serves the best espresso in my opinion. A more hidden but cozy and stylish place called Miro hide behind the dirty Langstrasse of Zurichs Kreis 4. They have delicious coffee which they roast themselves in the back of their coffeeshop.
